have worked with Frank Mannion Construction on a number of occasions for myself as well as for clients. I am an Architect
and have used Frank Mannion Const Corp on some very high end residential jobs. His work has always been
meticulous. He is organized, efficient, and extremely prompt in presenting pricing for any extras that became
apparent during the course of the job. I continue to refer him to many of my customers with the confidence that those
jobs will proceed in an expeditious and professional manner. "

came into my home 8 years ago and transformed a dark kitchen in the middle of a brownstone into a center of organization and
light. As a cook I had very specific ideas of how to make this space work, he heard them and with his expertise, brought them
to life with some helpful suggestions of his own. Trying to finesse one literally tight corner, I heard him say to his brother
Mike, ” What would Dad do?”. Frank combines expert craftsmanship, ingenuity family inspiration
and a wonderful sense of humor. He has done several other projects in my home since (rebuilding our top floor and building
a deck) and even talked me out of one that “just isn’t worth the money”. He is honest, delivers
on his promises and is a pleasure to work with.”
our architect, Robert Barbal, recommended several general contractors for our exterior home and garage renovation in Queens,
NY. The plans included a complete restyling of the exterior from a Cape to a traditional Arts and Crafts style bungalow. The
project included the addition of a new portico on the front facade, a new roofline, extension of the roof overhang, new siding,
all Azek trim, synthetic stone chimney, brick/paver walkways, and driveway and a drywell.
After meeting with 3
contractors, my wife and I decided on Frank Mannion Construction. From the very first meeting, we found Frank to be a straightforward,
even tempered gentleman with a pleasant sense of humor. That description did not change throughout the entire project.
Frank and his crew are all true craftsmen. Their superior carpentry skills are evident throughout the house. We can
be very particular. Our smallest concerns were always listened to and a thoughtful solution was found for every request.
Frank often went beyond what was required. We had selected an unusual paver, not readily available. Frank made at
least a dozen calls in the tri-state area before he found exactly what we wanted in New Jersey. And in another instance,
we had chosen a river rock cultured stone for our chimney. The supplier was in Connecticut. Frank set off at 4am to pickup
the special shipment and he and the stone arrived for work on schedule that morning.
Frank and his crew have a
good design sense. Not every detail was spelled out in the architectural plans. When a question came up, Frank would confer
with us, we would agree on an idea and with a keen eye for good proportion and clean lines, Frank’s crew would execute
We will always appreciate their strong work ethic and the meticulous construction standards of Frank
Mannion Construction. We think Frank and his craftsmen are a true rarity. We feel lucky to have found a general contractor
with such exceptional skills and good character.”
